This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track you. The only personal information it collects is what you type into the inquiry form, and the only reason I collect it is to decide whether I can help with your launch and to write back.

What the inquiry form collects

The form on the Book Launches page asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Book title or topic
  • Publication date, or an estimate
  • Publisher, or whether you are self-publishing
  • The size of your email list
  • The size of your social media following
  • The business behind the book
  • How you heard about me, and what you are hoping I can help with
  • Your budget for the launch
  • What a successful launch looks like to you

You choose what to put in it. If you would rather not answer something, email me at [email protected] instead.

What I do with it

I read every submission myself and reply. I use what you send to judge whether your book and timeline are a fit for the launch work, and to have a useful first conversation. I do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone else, and I do not add you to a mailing list from this form.

How long I keep it

Indefinitely. Submissions arrive as email and stay in my inbox, and I do not routinely delete them. If you want yours deleted, ask and I will remove it from my inbox and from the form provider.

Who else handles it

I use three services, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • Tally — Runs the inquiry form and stores submissions.
  • Cloudflare — Hosts and serves this site, and keeps standard server request logs.
  • HEY — Provides my email, so inquiries arrive and live in my inbox.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and includes no analytics or advertising scripts. The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited. The one third-party element is the inquiry form itself, which is embedded from Tally and loads only on the Book Launches page. Tally may set its own cookies within that form.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you those rights explicitly, and you can also complain to your national data protection authority. Email [email protected] and I will handle it myself.

Changes

If I add anything to this site that collects or shares more than what is described here, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
